WELCOME

Welcome to the Chesapeake church of Christ in Chesapeake, Virginia, where together, as a loving church family, we live, play, work, pray and worship our Heavenly Father in truth and spirit! We have no other creed but the Bible, and we strive to not add to the Word or take away from it. We look very forward to having visitors, so please come and worship and study with us as soon as you can.

WE ARE SIMPLY CHRISTIANS

Followers of Jesus Christ who believe, ... "there is no salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:11) We are a non-denominational Christian family that meet each week to worship God and to study His word. Our number is made up of men, women and children of all ages from multiple cities in Hampton Roads to bordering cities of North Carolina.

OUR EMPHASIS IS SPIRITUAL, NOT MATERIAL OR SOCIAL

We strive to show our love for God through obedience to His word. Our love for God is shown by our obedience to His commandments (John 14:15, 23). Jesus stated, "God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24) We believe “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:4-6) Our worship services are directed by the instructions we find only in the New Testament.
